What is the best way to get a healer mech serum Rimworld? ›

Healer mech serums cannot be crafted, nor can it be bought from traders. Instead they can only be found in ancient shrines or acquired as a reward for performing quests. Note that quest rewards are selected with a weighted random generator, so there is no way to guarantee access to a serum in a given play-through.

Luciferium addiction is unique in that it is permanent - there is no waiting it out. If not taken regularly, luciferium will eventually kill. Pawns will remain addicted even after applying healer mech serum or resurrector mech serum.

Instead, they can only be acquired as a reward for performing quests or found in ancient shrines.

Dementia[edit]

It can only be healed with luciferium or a healer mech serum. A human pawn must be at least 68 years old to get dementia from aging, meaning it can first occur at their 69th birthday. Dementia from other sources including toxic buildup can happen at any age.

Flake is generally accepted as the best for sale.

Slaver[edit]

Slavers deal in slaves/prisoners, weapons, body parts, medicine, and drugs.

Luciferium only heals old injuries, it doesn't regrow any limbs or organs.

Luciferium is special. The need for luciferium can never be cured, and trying to withdraw can and will eventually result in death.

Trauma savant can be cured with a healer mech serum. However, healer mech serum will always cure scars before trauma savant. As this ailment always occurs with a brain scar, you'll need multiple serums, or a serum with another way of curing scars (such as luciferium).

As long as they leave a corpse, friendly mechanoids can be resurrected for a steel cost. Allied Mechanoids do not consume any power while in a caravan and will return to their previous work mode when they arrive at the destination.

Glitterworld medicine cannot be crafted, however, it may be purchased from exotic goods traders or faction bases for around 55 - 70 silver. It can also be give as a quest reward, found on some raiders, given as a gift by a visiting caravan, or found in ancient shrines.

With a Medical Potency of 160%, glitterworld medicine has a +60% bonus to tend quality and surgery success chance when compared to industrial medicine. It's over twice as powerful as herbal medicine for these purposes.
