Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a superhero movie produced by Marvel Studios. It is the final film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The titular character is based on the Marvel character created by comic book legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Ryan Coogler returns to direct the sequel to his smash-hit superhero blockbuster, Black Panther. Coogler's directorial debut was 2013's Fruitvale Station, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

Following the death of Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther in the character’s first solo film, Marvel announced that they would not be recasting the role of T'Challa for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Returning for the sequel is Lupita Nyongo’o as Nakia, a War Dog and former partner of T’Challa. Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, and Letitia Wright return to play Okoye, Everett K. Ross, and Shuri. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in cinemas on November 11th, 2022.
